Arstkool
Founded in 2003, by students of the École des Beaux-Arts (Paris), the Artskool network aims to promote art school graduates and their work, propelling young artists into the art world and introducing them to its decision-makers.Objectives:
- To create a network of international art school graduates and artists, exhibiting their work and organizing experimental events both in established arts institutions and in unexpected self-started arts locales.
- To promote art school graduates and their work, propelling them into the art world and introducing them to its mainstream decision-makers as well as to like-minded artists.
- To compile and distribute a data base constituting a complete archive of the work and biographical details of the artists belonging to the Artskool network.
- To take part in other transdisciplinary research programmes
- To promote the Artskool via:
- an interactive website
- a group MSN messenger service
- regular informal meetings with fellow members
- meeting places made available to the membership
- To promote and initiate cultural projects:
- travelling exhibitions
- publications
- artistic events
